Das von den Baumpäonien übernommene Laub hat auch nach der Blüte einen Zierwert als Blattschmuckstaude. Je nach Witterungsverlauf im Herbst gibt es durchaus eine Herbstfärbung der Laubblätter. Durchmesser der Blüte: 15-18 cm
