Colonel Owen Cousins

Herbaceous Hybrid

Although 'Colonel Owen Cousins' was introduced over 50 years ago by Couisns and Klehm, it has only recently become known worldwide. The variety is therefore still a rarity, but its unique coloring is impressive. The flowers are bomb-shaped, double and open with a delicate hint of pink and a mixture of cream and white. It flowers early in the season and exudes a light, pleasant fragrance and is also stable at 60-70 cm in height. This form and color so early in the season are still very rare! Probably a cross between Little Dorit and a quadruple hybrid from Saunders. There is no doubt that 'Colonel Owen Cousins' has earned its place in the peony assortment.
